Flowing River Sangha is offering a wonderful opportunity to join us for a weekend Sesshin (silent retreat) October 3-5, 2025. We have secured space at the beautiful
in Glen Summit (near Mountaintop, Pa).
The retreat center is housed in the former Kirby mansion, and is surrounded by beautiful grounds, including an authentic Japanese Tea House and Zen Garden.
The cost for the weekend is $200.00, which includes overnight accommodations and all meals (dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday with vegetarian options available). Accommodations are dormitory style with bedrooms with 2, 3 or 4 beds with Jack and Jill bathrooms or hall bathrooms. Please don’t let financial issues prevent you from attending the program. If you can’t afford the program fee, there are options (see linked registration information – please download the document before filling it out, otherwise your personal information would be visible to others).
Registration is limited to 25 participants so please register as soon as possible to secure your spot. Further details and retreat schedule will be sent out with your registration confirmation. The final deadline for registration and full payment is September 19th.
Sesshin is a wonderful opportunity to strengthen your practice. I encourage you to stretch yourself and venture out of your comfort zone to experience the gift of sesshin. You will be surrounded by the beauty of nature and the gift of silence.
